Why Study at Modern College?

At Modern College, we make it possible to launch your career faster with our accelerated program, where you’ll:

  • Learn from industry professionals in a hands-on environment
  • Work one-on-one with instructors in small class settings
  • Gain real salon experience with actual clients – We believe in the power of the application of knowledge. Students get to work with clients and models sooner than most other beauty schools in Ontario. Our clinic floor for students to hone their skills and build client relationships is open 5/5 days of the week at Modern College, as opposed to many community sector colleges only being open for 1 of 5.
  • Study with expert brands in hair care like Goldwell. We’ve partnered with Goldwell to bring you the most up-to-date education and training on trending techniques in the hair industry.
  • Have exciting career opportunities beyond graduation—work in salons, barbershops, freelance, or even start your own business!
