On Thursday the 13th of November, CTS Canadian Career College celebrated the accomplishments of over 100 graduates at the fittingly grand Capitol Centre.

The event drew over 400 supportive friends and family, all happy to cheer on the grads along with CTS’s proud faculty and staff. And this year, the bi-annual ceremony was made even more special by the addition of a new group of graduates from Modern College of Hairstyling & Esthetics, which was acquired by CTS over the summer.

Family-owned, Modern College of Hairstyling & Esthetics is a registered Private Career College and has been educating in the beauty industry since 1955. At the CTS graduation ceremony, Michelle Larouche spoke on behalf of her late daughter and previous Modern College owner, Lynn Larouche Dolbeck about handing over the reins to CTS Canadian Career College. Mother, daughter and the entire family were apparently very supportive of the transition.

In honour of Lynn, CTS presented graduate Christine Moore with the first ever ‘Dragonfly Award’ – the first step in what will surely become a longstanding tradition of rewarding excellence in the Larouche name.
